Parking here is a joke. Often have to do 5 minutes driving around waiting for a spot to open. Waiting rooms are nice, but again not too many seats available. Once you get inside I think the staff is helpful. I had a stent put in my right kidney to bladder. Although it was painful I believe it is working. Dr. Dana Holder performed the procedure. Waiting for follow up ultrasound.

Received excellent care in every way! Very professional and friendly treatment , from beginning to the end of my stay and procedure. The only reason why I did not give five star, was the terrible phone service. For most phone calls the the hold time was one to two hours and for the call back option, calls where returned in some cases only the next day or never.

Most of my visit was good. I was given a larger amount of information to think about and choices were explained to my satisfaction. Dr Kelly and his team were respectful in many ways. My only issue was after I had a rectal exam everyone left me alone in the room. After I cleaned myself I sat and waited to see if anything else was needed of me. This was my first visit to this facility and didn’t know the routine. After sitting for a time and no one appeared so I walked out of the room. I found someone behind the desk and asked what I needed to do next. I was so confused. The person talked to me about being contacted by someone for an MRI and there would be a meeting with a PA after the MRI. So than I needed to figure out how to get out of the office and to the elevator. Someone pointed in a direction which I followed. It was a confusing maze. I ended up in a stair well with no way out until I got to the ground floor and luckily there was a door to the outside. I ended up being at the back of the office not the parking lot. Most offices I have visited over the past year has someone help you by walking me out. I would think they would have the courtesy to help their patients exit their office. We are kind of important to their practice. It just made me feel uncomfortable and not important to them.

Little nervous about my visit with Dr. Volt retiring - for no reason. PA Ortiz was great. Down to earth, knowledgeable and empathetic. I feel confident being in her care.

Great visit, no waiting

My last visit was a blood draw for my follow up later this week. I was called within 2 minutes of checking in. The staff was pleasant and professional. My veins are difficult to find. The tech found a vein on the first attempt and I barely felt the stick.

NO STARS!!!! I thought maybe I was going to get good news, I gave five stars to get this on the “official website” that seems to be all they put is “Good” reviews on their website. Go to google and other sites and really research these people. Rude customer service when you can get them on the phone. The NURSE PRACTITIONER then hasn’t read my referral or done an examination and going to tell me that the GYNECOLOGIST that sent me to them has diagnosed me incorrectly. I am traumatized, in pain and an emotionally drained from this visit, sent my husband out of the room to exam me because he spoke his opinion and hurt someone’s feelings which didn’t help my situation. She didn’t pull a privacy curtain when I am changing my clothes, left me on he exam table raised 6 foot in the air, thru 2 pair of dirty gloves on the desk, didn’t want to hear anything I or my husband had to say about MY BODY. All she wanted to talk about was Physical Therapy, that must be the money maker. Why would my GYN send me to ANOTHER STATE for Physical Therapy when I was told I needed a Uro-gynecologist so I could have 3 procedures done, one of which the GYN was not able to do? Don’t waste your time, money or insurance going to this office. NO STARS!!!!

My mom who is 94 years old and has dementia - it takes at least 3 or 4 people to change her catheter. They are very good about working out a routine that works for her.

I have been a patient of Urology of Virginia for at very least 25 years. I would not go to any other clinic or hospital. From sign in staff on the desk to the nurses to the Doctors they are the very best. You are treated with the utmost respect from start to finish.

Medical staff is customer focused as are the admin staff I came in contact . It is a well trained staff.

No problems with my vizit

The appointment reminders and ability to register online was very helpful saving time from having to register on site. The health visit went very well. The front office staff were welcoming and courteous when giving information. During the doctor visit, discussing reports, health issue and prevention measures were thorough. The only downside was the wait to be seen, however, that could have been due to a late scheduled appointment. So, my next appointment was scheduled in the morning.

I was very pleased with my appointment. The only thing I was not pleased about was the wait from my appointment time until I saw the provider. It was about an hour and a half.

The nurses here are the BEST ANGELS I have ever met! The Supreme level of care kindness and love they have shown me in the depths of my severe poss terminal bladder cancer is astounding!! The compassion I have recieved while they are understaffed is outstanding!!! Let's not forget the doctors here. DRs Habibi both have been amazing!! As well as Dr Flemming who has been kind and understanding throughout my situation just remarkable!!! Re guardless of outcome these beautiful skilled angels have done above and beyond

Always Pleasant

My visit went well with the exception of having to wait 45 min to actually see the doctor. The staff is pleasant and easy to deal with. I used to have a very frustrating experience trying to speak to anyone in the office on the phone, but now I go through the Chart Span option and find it much easier.

Urology of Va has great customer service. Staff members are friendly and very helpful. I see Dr Michael Williams. I find him to be respectful and friendly. He takes his time during my appointments, answers all my questions and explains my issues and treatment so that I understand. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

While the visit was great, I would like to say that follow up from a diagnostic test, CT Urogram, ordered in July did not happen. Said test was unable to be performed d/t unable to administer the contrast. No one from UVA ever called to attempt a reschedule. My wife finally called and had the order reentered so that the test could be scheduled. I feel the office should have called me to plan for the reschedule. Not wait for my wife or myself to call.

Dr. Brugh and his staff are fantastic. The care I've received has been great so far. My only complaint would be reaching someone via phone to schedule an appt can be challenging.

As well as receiving great treatment in each session, I also learned how to manage my illness and continue healing on my own. Careful and concerned help.

I don’t mind the drive from Newport News for my appointments as Dr. Given and staff always provide me excellent care and attention. Why go elsewhere when I am fortunate enough to be a patient of “the best”?

Although Urology of Va. is a very large practice, it appears well-managed down to the smallest detail. All the staff and doctors I've met seem smart, pleasant, experienced, and skilled. Some of the most advanced procedures are available, and Dr. Eure is well-respected all around.

Thank you for your excellent service. The lab was running right on time, and the technician was very cordial (genuinely so!), and careful with placing the I-V in a good vein. I will use the word COMPETENT! Happy New Year to all.

Although I had to wait a little longer than I would have wanted to be called back to see Dr. Frances Martin, I understand that it is very difficult to determine in advance how much time each patient will require. I appreciate that when it is my time to see Dr. Martin that she will take the time needed to discuss my situation and answer any questions I may have.

Great patient care

I see Dr. Rawls every three months. I feel very comfortable and very informed when I come in for my appointments to see him. He addresses any concerns he may have and takes a proactive approach when certain tests need to be done. I believe in being proactive myself when it comes to my health. His nurse (Jackie) is very professional as well as friendly and caring. The front staff is friendly and professional as well (especially Mrs. Michele Williams).

My appointment was excellent and we covered a lot of ground, but I've had to cancel my follow-up appointment (Dec 16) as I have am recovering from an Aortic valve replacement last Friday and the placement of a Pacemaker Monday of this week. My kidney situation is dire and I need to persure a solution soon but can't get an appointm ent now until FEBRUARY? Help, please!

Dr Joseph is excellent! I recently moved to this area and I definitely picked the right doctor. Sometimes I see Lakisha and she is also very excellent. The entire staff is so friendly. I especially enjoy the checking in/out with Lena. She is a pure joy.

Very comprehensive and productive visit with Ms Ortiz. Her after visit notation was detailed and a work of art. I was a physician in a previous lifetime and never produced a clinic summary such as this. She is going to the Hampton Urology Branch after December 31 and will have at least one follower!

Not sure where to begin, this process was very professional and went quickly. I was diagnosed with Prostae cancer and needless to say it is a shock. Dr Malcolm is an absolute superstar in my opinion, I worked in Healthcare my entire adult life, I knew his reputation and made sure I got to see him. His scheduler Chris is definitely someone who should be recognized for the superb service and compassion she brings. I cant say enough great things about her and the good Doctor. I am amazed at how quick I got surgery, due to a cancellation and how well I am recovering. DaVinci is my friend for sure! So many thanks to pass out and I am forever greatful.

Very good, except you do not provide rotatable catheter stabilizers with no good explanation as to why. I moved here from the Midwest and there they would apply a new one at each monthly visit and give out as many spares as you wanted. Also, I visited two local medical supply stores and one didn't have them and one said you had to have a prescription to get them (which I doubt). I STRONGLY recommend you provide them at each monthly cath change!!! My insurance covered the cost in the Midwest so should here also, should cost be a factor with you.
